The following pages contain my report of the Second Intercontinental Meeting for Humanity and Against Neoliberalism, held in the Spanish state from July 25 to August 3, 1997. It was convoked by the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN), in rebellion in Mexico, and was in part a continuation the First Intercontinental Meeting, held in the the Mexican state of Chiapas in July of 1996. That first meeting, or "Encuentro" in Spanish, was a response to the First Declaration of La Realidad, issued by the EZLN in January of 1996.
